Opinion:
GoDaddy hosts millions of websites. This causes problems. FTP disconnects very often. This is extremely frustrating if you are editing your website Filezilla or WinSCP. Their control panel is custom and it's a confusing mess to navigate. CPanel is far superior but they don't use CPanel. Their marketing is really good though. Be warned. Danica Patrick and Jillian Michaels won't show up to fix your website when you are experiencing problems. This is our honest opinion. We don't get paid to promote or slam GoDaddy in comparison to any other web host. We respect Bob Parsons for turning GoDaddy into a huge success but it is very large and bloated. There are better web hosts out there for reliability and customer experience. | Opinion:
FatCow takes a friendly approach to web hosting. Instead of burdening the end user with a lot of technical jargon they try to simplify the process and make the web hosting experience fun. This is an ideal host for beginners to learn about the web hosting process. The learning curve to get up and running on FatCow is much lower than some of the other web hosts. |
