Versions:

WebRoot has a 30 day free trial but the core product is not free. Their entry-level solution is called WebRoot SecureAnywhere Antivirus. If you a looking for a firewall, file shredding, online backup (2GB) and phishing recognition you will need WebRoot SecureAnywhere Essentials. SecureAnywhere Complete is their premiere suite package. It includes password encryption, auto form complete, and mobile device protection. WebRoot also offers business solutions. They are working on an Endpoint solution in an attempt to be the lightest endpoint solution out there but it doesn't appear finished yet. They do have business email security solutions available right now.
Versions:

Panda Security has a 30 day free trial but there is no free Panda Security version. You will need to purchase the product to keep it. Panda Antivirus Pro 2012 is the entry-level product. If you upgrade to Panda Internet Security, you will get the sandbox environment (they call it Web Filter), Parental Control options, enhanced anti-spam, online backup (2GB) and remote PC Access features. Global Protection 2012 is the full suite containing all features found in the aforementioned but also includes PC speed optimization, file encryption and file shredding. If you need a business solution, Panda Security has those available. They are called On-Premise solutions.

No. WebRoot does not provide a virtual sandbox.

No. WebRoot SecureAnywhere Complete 2012 offers System Cleanup, which will improve internet browsing speed, but it doesn't specifically address PC optimization / PC cleanup.

Yes. WebRoot provides automatic online backup up to 10GB per user.
