Shaker List:
Shaker Lists are optional but very powerful. A Shaker List is like a combination lock. It protects your passwords from keyloggers and other sophisticated spyware. To set one up enter some links into your account (we suggest at least 10). Choose a few of these links to be your Shaker List. The Shaker List is sensitive. If you guess wrong on your first attempt it is forgiven. If you guess wrong twice your account is locked down. You will need your CodeName (if you did not leave it blank) and the correct Shaker List to unlock your account. Setting up a Shaker List is a really good idea. Not only does it protect your account from spyware but it protects your credentials from other people who may share your computer.

After you set up a Shaker List, you will be prompted to enter it every time you access your account. It is like a third password which protects you from spyware. Please note to select the checkboxes on the Shaker List you do not have to click. You just need to hover over.

If you feel your account was locked because someone tried to guess at your list, you probably want to unlock your account from a computer you have not used (because your username and account password may have been stolen with spyware that is still on your normal computer).

If you know you accidentally locked yourself out of your own account, simply fill in your CodeName and submit the correct Shaker List.

Your Shaker List can contain 1 link or it can contain many links. The odds of guessing correctly are easily calculated by (2 ^ n) / 2. Therefore the odds of your digital identity being stolen with 10 links in the main folder is 1 in 512. For a 25 link list , odds are 1 in 16,777,216. Choosing a good CodeName makes your account even safer!

Your Shaker List can be set to positive or negative. Positive is the default. A positive trigger means you must select all links in the Shaker List sequence. A negative trigger means you must select all links NOT in the sequence. Use the "All" button directly underneath your list of links to quickly select or de-select all links. Practice a positive Shaker List on Practice Page One. Practice a negative Shaker List on Practice Page Two.
