Cool Features:

Norton Antivirus is perhaps the most well known antivirus on the market. Here are some of the features. The Proactive Exploit Protection feature actively prevents exploit techniques such as heap spray and ROP (Return Oriented Programming). The Threat Emulation feature analyzes malware that has been encrypted, packed, or obfuscated by running it in a controlled environment and evaluating it after it self-decrypts. This is a rare feature that not many other antiviruses have. Norton has a unique guarantee to its customers. If you purchase any Norton Antivirus above the basic package there is a unique guarantee. If Symantec tech support agents cannot rid your system of pesky malware, the company will refund your money.

Cool Features:

AVG safeguards you from accidentally opening infected files by placing them in quarantine. The antivirus intelligently collects data on new threats by harnessing the power of its giant user base and their PCs - but you can opt out of this feature if you want to. When AVG recognizes a problem quite often a Fix button will appear on your computer screen. If you give approval then AVG will attempt to correct the problem swiftly. AVG waits until your computer is not being used before it begins its scans to reduce hogging up resources. It is smart enough to ignore files that it has already approved. It has a game mode feature to ease your apprehension that a game will be interrupted by a scan. The Deep Scan feature is very unique. Deep Scan will run a new Boot-Time scan to discover potential threats before Windows starts.
