You can use our web site without disclosing your personal data. When registering for a free account, we will ask you for some contact information. Your name and email address are requested, as well as information such as your year of birth and gender (your year of birth and gender are collected for statistical purposes). We use Paypal as our payment gateway.

The database and its contents remain at our company and stay with data processors or servers acting on our behalf and responsible to us. Your personal data will not be passed on by us or by our agents for use by third parties in any form whatsoever, unless we have obtained your consent or are legally required to do so.

We will retain control of and responsibility for the use of any personal data you disclose to us. Paypal services are used for Spyshakers.com payment processing.

Service Providers:

modvps.com provides Spyshakers.com with hosting services. ModVPS does not have access to decrypt Spyshakers client data.

Treatment of Passwords:

Your Spyshakers password is stored in one-way encrypted form on our system. This means that administrators never store or summon the true value of your Spyshakers password. We are only able to verify that the password provided produces the expected hash value. Your Spyshakers password lives in it's true form as a session variable on your computer. It encrypts and decrypts all sensitive information. Spyshakers.com administrators never store or summon any of your encrypted data. The responsibility to remember the Spyshakers password is that of the end user. We do not store it therefore we cannot remind you of it.

Spyware Filters:

Spyshakers.com provides several custom spyware filters. These filters are what makes our website unique. Although these filters help protect an identity against spyware, in no way is your identity guaranteed to be kept secret by these filters from existing spywares or by the progression of spywares in the future. The system is complimentary to anti-spyware. It is not built to replace it. Spyshakers.com suggests using anti-virus and anti-spyware frequently.

Purposes of Use:

The data we collect will only be used for the purpose of supplying you with the requested products or services or for other purposes for which you have given your consent, except where otherwise provided by law.

Right of Access and Correction:

You have the right to review and amend any personal data stored in our system if you believe it may be out of date or incorrect by editing this information within your Spyshakers Profile.

Right of Cancellation:

Your account may be cancelled after one year of inactivity. It can be removed upon request.

Data Retention:

We only retain personal data for as long as is necessary for us to render a service you have requested or to which you have given your consent, except where otherwise provided by law (e.g. in connection with pending litigation).

Use of Cookies:

Cookies are small files held in your web browser that can be used as personal identifiers. Spyshakers.com does not use any cookies for that purpose. We try to remain cookie free for security purposes.

Security:

Grant City Ventures Inc. uses technical and organizational security precautions to protect your data from manipulation, loss, destruction or access by unauthorized persons. ALL personal data that is provided to Grant City Ventures Inc. by you will be encrypted in transit (at minimum via SSL) to prevent possible misuse by third parties. Our security procedures are continuously revised based on new technological developments.

Grant City Ventures Inc. reserves the right to disclose your personally identifiable information as required by law and when we believe that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights and/or comply with a judicial proceeding, court order, or legal process served on Spyshakers.com.

Children:

In light of the importance of protecting children's privacy, we do not collect, process or use on our website any information relating to an individual whom we know to be under 14 years old without the prior, verifiable consent of his or her legal representative. Such legal representative has the right, upon request, to view the information provided by the child and/or to require that it be deleted.

Communications:

Spyshakers.com communicates with clients thru e-mail notifications. E-mail notifications occur when 1) Replying to e-mail requests addressed to the staff 2) issue warnings of abuse, misconduct, notification or possible suspension of account priviledges. Spyshakers.com does not send any promotional or newsletter emails, and we will NEVER ask for your account password in any e-mail.
